Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most impressive human beings in history. Da Vinci was a flexible man who excelled in so many different areas, with an incredible ambition to push his skills into as many new areas as possible. This post looks at his career and also tries to place his life in the overall Renaissance era when set against other key contributors.

Da Vinci paintings remain examples of human ingenuity at it's best and help to underline the progress made during the Renaissance generally which was crucial in the development of European art onwards from what had gone on during the Middle Ages.
